THERAPEUTIC WILDERNESS EXPEDITION
August 14th to the 19th, 2011

Nature is the perfect setting for learning, healing and adventure! This expedition is in the beautiful
mountains of New Hampshire. Starting at a farm, the trip begins with learning skills of sustainable
living and participating in team building activities to get to know each other. The next day is a full day
of hiking from the farm to the world renound rock climbing spot, Rumney Cliffs. Day three is rock
climbing. This is a great sport that builds self confidence and patience.

The Baker River passes right by the Rumney Cliffs. This is a serene section of river for kayaking and
canoeing that the group will be on for our fourth day of adventure. We end the kayak day at another
local farm where the kids will spend the rest of the day doing more team building activities before
having a home cooked meal right from the farm. The next day, we will wake up and help out at the
farm, harvesting vegetables. We will end the trip with a debriefing session to process all that we have
experienced.
