Connecting to our Web Cam Service

For your convenience the Hunter School now offers Video Web Cam services with the School to compliment your communication with us. This is a great tool for interviewing, acquiring information, getting to know our staff and councilors or staying in touch with your children.

The first step involved in making a Video Cam call is that you must have a Video Web Cam connected to your computer. The Camera does not have to be an expensive model, many start as low as $30.00 and will do a great job. They are very easy to install and if you get stuck we are always here to help you get going, just give us a call.

It will also be helpful if you have a high-speed Internet connection, the faster the information transfer the better the quality of the video image.

Now once those two things are in place you’re just about ready to go. Call the School and set up a time to call the person that you would like to speak to so that they can be available to accept the call when it comes through on our computer. 

We use a video service called Sightspeed. The great thing about Sightspeed is that you don’t have to do anything on your part to use it. Just click on the hyperlink below and you will be taken to our Sightspeed page. Once there click on the Sightspeed logo and your call to us will be initialized and sent. When the call is answered you'll see us....We'll see you... It’s as simple as that.
